John Staley has been making images for more than 30 years. For the last 13 years he has built a career as an assignment photographer, developing a growing national reputation. His strong editorial style is evident in the diversity of his work, as well as in its photojournalistic feel.

For the last 10 years, Staley’s work has been a mainstay in the exposition and event field, where he covers many of the most prestigious conventions, trade shows and events in America. Specializing in high-end digital photography, Staley’s editorial style is as perfectly suited for news coverage as it is for event documentation and publicity. His work in the area of trade show dailies has made him one of the premier specialists in trade show journalism.

In executing assignments all over the world, John travels nearly 130 days a year and is available to work anywhere on location. He works and lives with his wife, Gerrie, on the South Park Blocks in Portland, Oregon.
